With the school year coming to a close and the seniors nearly off to each of their respective schools, it comes time for the athletes who are committing to a school for sports to be acknowledged. Signing Day took place on April 30th, and although most of the athletes have already officially signed, signing day provides each student with a photo of them in their school gear, “signing” on a piece of paper in front of them. The event is held during lunch in Gym 3 at SR, and family and friends come to watch, along with the athlete’s coaches. This year, there are 10 gators signing to schools.
